A - From Montreal take highway 20 east (south side of St Lawrence river) towards Quebec City. Cross the Pierre Laporte Bridge for Quebec City. 

Stay in the right lane and take exit 175, Boulevard Laurier, Quebec, (Centre-Ville).

B - From Montreal take highway 40 east (north side of St Lawrence river) towards Quebec City. Take Autoroute Duplessis sud/south 540.

Take exit 175, Boulevard Laurier, Québec, (Centre-Ville).

Continue along Boulevard Laurier for 4 kilometers. Boulevard Laurier changes its’ name to Grande-Allée and then to Saint-Louis, as you enter the Quebec Gates.

Enter the walls of the Old City and at rue des Jardins turn left - Aux Anciens Canadiens restaurant (red roof).  Continue to the end of rue des Jardins and down Cote de la Fabrique. Hôtel du Vieux Québec is on your right at the bottom of the hill.

From the airport to Hotel du Vieux-Quebec:

Taxi (duration from 20 to 30 minutes) – rate of $32.50

From the train and bus station – ‘Gare du Palais’ to Hôtel du Vieux-Québec :

Walking – about 10 minutes (uphill)

1. Go West on Gare-du-Palais street in direction of Saint-Nicolas street (walk 38m)
2. Turn left on Saint-Nicolas (walk 0.2 km)
3. Turn slightly on your left to continue on Saint-Nicolas (walk 56m)
4. Continue on Côte du Palais street (walk 0.2 km)
5. Turn left on Saint-Jean street (walk 68m)
6. Your destination will be on your left (1190 Saint-Jean street)

If you want to go around the Old Quebec, the Old Port and in the the City Centre without having to walk everywhere, instead of using your car you can take the Ecolobus. It is a free electric bus that runs around every 20 minutes and you can hop on, hop off as you like. There is a stop in front of the hotel.
